Small bakery here. Can I get a simple WordPress site for $1,500? Hours, menu, contact form.
Absolutely. For $1,500 you get: homepage, menu page, contact form, and a full replacement of SAP S/4HANA.
Not yet. But your contact form now has General Ledger, Materials Management and Warehouse Management, implemented as 214 WordPress plugins.
Payroll runs inside Contact Form 7. Submitting 'I'd like a birthday cake' posts a journal entry and initiates a three-way match against a purchase order for flour.
Hosting is $4.99/month shared. Month-end close takes 11 days because the cron only fires when someone visits the site.
Timeline: 2 weeks for the site, 4 years for the ERP. Change requests billed at the standard rate of one sourdough loaf per WordPress update.
